FAQ

Good weather policy;

Safety is our top priority at MNAC. We will not cancel a tour to avoid a little rain but if conditions are or are expected to become risky we will issue a full refund or reschedule your tour rather than take any chances. This also includes water levels and the rate of flowing water coming down river.

What to bring;

  • Wear clothing and shoes you won’t mind getting wet. (avoid cotton if possible)

  • Change of clothes

  • Water

  • Sunblock

  • Hat

  • Sunglasses

Cancellation Policy;

Due to the small intimate sizes of our tours we require 48 hour advance notice of cancellations to receive a full refund.

Children;

Children 10 and under are required to be in a tandem kayak with an adult. The swift and confined nature of Minnehaha Creek does not allow for tandem kayaks.

Tipping;

Our guides work hard to ensure you have the best possible experience on the water. Although its not required, we encourage you to show your appreciation. Gratuity can also be added afterwards electronically.

Private Tours;

All tours offered through our website are public, group based tours. Please call us to schedule a private tour with up to 14 guests.

Transportation;

Our tours are designed to provide transportation from the landing or tour destination to the point of entry. You will meet us with your cars at the take-out point and we will shuttle you up to the drop-in. Therefore when your tour is over, your cars will be waiting.
