This tour begins in the beautiful backwaters of the Minnesota River at one of Saint Paul’s most popular historical destinations, Fort Snelling. Enjoy some of the rich history, and preserved wetlands of our amazing capital city as you paddle past Pike Island, under multiple bridges, and finally ascend into downtown Saint Paul. Keep you're eyes peeled for wildlife such as bald eagles, blue herons, and local aquatic animals. As the adventure nears an end we will be greeted by an amazing view of the high bridge and the downtown skyline, a great picture opportunity for you and your group. The tour concludes at Harriet Island Park, directly west of downtown Saint Paul. Here you will be free to explore the park and all it has to offer.
This tour is great for big groups and requires little skill or kayak experience. As long as conditions are favorable, this is a very calm, enjoyable paddle through our beautiful capital city.
